Who we are

This policy covers Ventura Software (“Ventura”, “we”, “us”), operating venturasoftware.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide and improve our services, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use enquiry details for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our email:

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and Singapore. We choose providers with appropriate security and contractual protections. We don't otherwise disclose your information unless the law requires it.

Client data and AI

Data we handle for clients stays with that client and is never used to train models for anyone else. Where a client's data must stay on their own infrastructure, we design our work so that it does.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing info@venturasoftware.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
